| This Weekend Well got out fairly early decided to drift fish all day over mussel ground for plaice, totally unproductive apart from one plaice about 3/4 of a pound, which went back, also the biggest Dab I've seen for a while which also went back along with a cousin, a flounder, fairly good size but I tend to put everything back which is not plate sized these days! Still looks too early, although the commercial fisherman are reporting good catches of plaice, however i'm not using a net......but hey what an absolutely beautiful day! The boys enjoyed themselves, fresh sea air and not a cloud in sight....even though it was a bit dusty      |
