Well on Friday last my son Anderw and I launched SL for the first time. I kept the date quite didn't wont too many people their I mean a few snigger's from the odd passer bye if things go pear shaped OK but a crowd no way. I needn't of worried all went OK with the launch. We launched at Beaumaris Anglesey and except for the fact that as the boat is aluminium and the engine is a greater proportion of the wait than on other boats which meant that as she rolled down the trailer she suddenly sent her bow skywards and came off the trailer stern first at an angle that would do credit to a sky rocket. As the water was not that deep we both thought that as we pulled the trailer away we would see the boat pointing sky wards sitting on its stern with the engine buried in the sand. We breathed again she was floating happily as for me hart rate slowed blurred vision cleared dizziness abated and relived smile crept across my face. We then climbed aboard and rowed out dropped the engine started her up rowed a bit more till she was warm and away we went. More to tell on next thread Cliff |

| Nice one Cliff. Had my first launch on Saturday. It's horrible when people are watching. Looking forward to hearing how you got on... __________________ Don't Judge My Path If You Haven't Walked My Journey... |
