| Off to New Grounds sat night well im finaly getting out for my first boat trip of this year on a mates boat  , were going to be leaving chi harbour at about 11am and heading over to new grounds area to stay over night .anybody know of any good marks near new grounds or any tips for fishing new grounds area as this will be our first time on this mark as well, what would be good bait for this area guys n gals, read its a good bass mark so was going to try some of my new shads and lures on a flyiing collar rig and maybe some bug squid baits on another rod. ive just bought a new boat, shes not ready for the water yet but will be very shortly, pics to come. so im made up to be going out to wet a line with my mate as we have just been given the green light by our pass officers tight lines Alex     |

| Re: Off to New Grounds sat night thanks we may need the luck, im secretly hoping the fish will be finaly in closer to us and we may have a chance  we were thinking of anchoring near seaview and dropping our baits into the channel that runs from bembridge around the coast almost to the fort, any help on if this holds  .cheers Alex |

| Re: Off to New Grounds sat night forgot to update, Anyway we set off from emsworth at high tide and cruised out to bullocks patch, which was not showing any fish, dont think the other few boats around us caught either but didnt ask as we werent close enough. then we went over to sea view for the night, we plotted up in front of the club and threw some rag out on ledgers with no luck. in the morning we set off back to bullocks patch to blank again  so we just headed for home, but the weather was amazing and it was like a mill pond out there the whole time |
