Thanks for the welcome i hope to post pictures and a report up on the forum when i get out fishing on my boat Johnd where do you get your tagging kits from and where do you send the info ive had a few tope out of hornsea but ive put then back as nobody i know as any idea of where you get the kits from if i have to buy them so be it not long now 17th of june three weeks up the M O G tightlines Alain

Hi If you search for shark tagging programe on google it will come up, it is run by a guy from southampton university and they send the kit free of charge, it tells you what to do. All you have to do is catch the fish and send in the returns.

Hi John thanks for the info ill send off for a kit now how many fish (TOPE) have you tagged and have you recorded them in your own book IE times dates weather condition have you been over to the scarres i was told a chap got a hook up off a portbeagal shark but he cut the line bloody wuss thay are showing at whitby now and again not to far out about 3 or 4 miles would love to catch one only a little one for now Ha Ha tightlines Alain (alain@dash.fsbusiness.co.uk) www dashaulage.co.uk

Hi All i just back from the sharkAteg meet well what a let down last year i had 30 plus tope in the three weeks i was there but this year nowt over 6lbs loads of hounds and thornback rays only tagged one ray all the time i was there again three weeks so im now back at home (in york) waiting for the tope to show along the east coast (John) Wreck raider is that your boat at the front of ardwell marine i dident see it move all the time i was on holiday if its your boat its in the same place where my mates seahog samari was hes round the back now i hope to get back up there in a few weeks last week in august ill keep my eye out for reports and phone (Ian Burrett) see when the big UNs Show so until i have something to tell you all tightlines Alain (The Buoys)

Hi All well what a let down its been
the fishing along the holderness coast as been pants very few tope showing a few of the yak lads have been catching bass into 12lbs plus a few decent pollack and thats about All
Im off back up to Luce bay this friday for a few days just me and a mate will be after the tope & bass got few new places to try off the boat and the shore so fingers crossed tightlines Alain

Hi mate, i'm also a new member to the forum, and i also occasionally fish luce bay. i'd be happy to give you a shout any time time i'm heading down there, it's always good to have some company mate (theres safety in numbers).
Our boat is also on a trailer so we try to get about as much as possible so were always looking for possibilities.
Likewise anytime your heading up give us a shout.
