Unhappy Re: Deadly silence

Deadly silent more like shocked into silence. Just been looking at the cost of lauching the boat I bought a couple of months ago. To launch into the Mersey from New Brighton beach, have you seen the cost, first got to get class 2 something or other, 2 day course £250 ( wonder if they throw in lunch and L plats if not will car ones do). Then £120. boat insurance then £140. permit to use the beach, permits run from April to April so no point in getting it yet. Thought I'd forget the Mersey and go to Anglesey instead, and gess what It's the same there exept that you dont pay £140 a year, no it's £15 ago yes £15 ago. That's done it Ill have to sell th buggie and get a begging bowl. Have you seen the price of begging bowls.

Re curface it you say, re surface what! all there is, is a beach, are they going to replace the sand. Or are they going to give us a nice concrete slip into the sea, ( fat chance ). May be we will get red sand so they can check trailer tires anywhere to see if we have a permit, you know like they do with red deisel. Are well the boat will soon be ready for its first launch by me. But as I dont have a permit yet it might be an idea to lauch at night so they dont see me. All I'll need then is some tyre black to hide the red sand.
