 Just about ready for the summer. Fired up the Lady Rita's outboard on Sunday. Drop of fresh petrol & she started up first flick of the key. Ticking over very smoothly, but I have one small concern. The cooling water outlet (Pee pipe) was pumping out water strongly for about a minute or so, then it reduced to a trickle. It was a cold frosty morning & I suspect it may have just been a bit of ice blocking the outlet. Anyone else got any thoughts? Other than that, i've got the boat pretty much kitted out & ready to go. | Re: Just about ready for the summer. As mentioned Ian, check out your impeller, and carry one as a spare. Dont know how many hours your motor has done but its always worth changing your impeller then you can be sure you are changing at recommended intervals.
