Greenheart, strongly recommend that you get that looked at, if it over heats then you could crack the engine and that will be very expensive. probably the pump, if that packs up totally whilst at sea and you don't notice it, bang!

she looks top dolla m8, you'll have to come out with us when the smuts start to run the solent, me and 6 other boats are palnning a bit of a crack at hill head 1 evening, plan is to have a bbq then head out at 6ish and fish till mid nite. last year i had them to just under 17lb and my m8 had 1 @ 22lb.
as far as the engine goes m8, i dont think its freezing up. its probaly the impeller breaking up after been sat still for a while. give us a ring if you like . its not a difficult job. you just release the bolt going up in to the leg and the gear link then remove the leg and the rest is obvious once you get the leg off, release pump housing, lift it off and the impeller will be looking at you.
