Re: Praying for drop in winds this Thursday ! Easterlies shouldn't be a problem from Exmouth. it's Southerlies that cause all sorts of issues. Depending what you and/or your skipper were planning, if it's too rough to head out into the channel some of the tidal races round the rocks should produce some epic bass. Wrap up warm and go equipped ;0)

Re: Praying for drop in winds this Thursday ! Current forecast for Exmouth Thursday NNE, steady force 4 (17-18mph) Going right out into the channel would probably be uncomfortable in a small boat as it's giving steady force 5 gusting 6 Would be a good day to hunt around the wrecks in the deep water anchorages. These are the wrecks that are usually infested with divers in the summer so don't get fished/netted that often

Re: Praying for drop in winds this Thursday ! Drew, NE 10s - I mean 10mph !!! Flypin eck I aint mad and I aint suicidal - I have been out in a force 8 in Donegal with Old Smoothound in 30ft waves hunting the tuna and that my friend is something i have no interest in doing again! Just Mark - Easterly winds are the nightmare scenario for Exmouth Im afraid mate - any hint wotsoever means the estuary is basically no go to get in or out, let alone get out towards a few wrecks ! Looking at the forecast the weekend aint no better so I guess we may have to leave it until next week - balls ! __________________ So near yet so far - Wembley 2008 - Zideered Right Up !
