| 16 mph Northerlys ? Thats the forecast tomorrow out of Exmouth - usually not too bad but anyone know the area well enough to say if this is fishable on a 20ft boat comfortably - Ive no doubt the boat will handle it I just dont want to spend the day groundbaiting !! __________________ So near yet so far - Wembley 2008 - Zideered Right Up ! |

| Re: 16 mph Northerlys ? It's usually a south or south east wind that causes problems along this stretch of coast. Lyme Bay should generally be fishable, if a bit draughty |

| Re: 16 mph Northerlys ? Drew, Ive done my homework and done my homework - believe me I wouldnt consider setting foot on a boat heading out if I hadnt - cant ever take a risk with the mighty elements ! I was just seeing if anyone had a better idea of the state of the sea etc down there - a live report so to speak - like your trip on Saturday - forecasts arent always acuarte ! I know full well that its the easterlys that cause the problems down our way off Exmouth so being that the forecast is northg to north west hopefully it should ne ok. | Re: 16 mph Northerlys ? Can tell you the sea off Exmouth was real calm this morning despite the breeze coming from the North. :) In fact I can see it now from my office, and it still looks fine. __________________ Jason - Got the flavour for fishing back! |
