| first trip for 2010 We have fresh mussels,fresh black lug, and frozen squid, cocktails i think are in order,  0900hrs start weather looks good, shoreham here we come !    |

| Re: first trip for 2010 Well, what an excellent day, my six year old son managed to catch 4 dabs, doggy, and several channel, i lost a good fish but shortly after had a 4 and half pound codling.........that will do me! Great Day. |

| Re: first trip for 2010 Thanks men, no its my own boat, thought it was going to be a bleak day actually, just about to leave the lock and one of the lock keepers asked if we could keep our eyes peeled for a body in the water spotted around the east arm of the harbour, by the time we got there, she was by the west arm, fortunately another boat got there before me, ( i had 6year old son with me). Good news she was still alive , bad news she just wanted to end it all.  Didnt manage to spoil a thoroughly good day out and thankfully my boy wasnt too tuned in to what was going on.  |

| Re: first trip for 2010 Nice one wel done. Its great that you take your son with you. I take my lad somthimes, hes six, but hes not very interested yet. He tells me he has special powers and he can see right into the water, then tells me that we are wasting are time, there are no fish comming  lol. |
