Weymouth charters

Hi. I am fairly new to boat fishing. Just wondering if anyone has been out of weymouth with any of the charter fleet?

Hi Mazza, Been out on Valerie Ann with Ron Brown, Flamer With Colin Penney, Top Cat with Ivan Wellington, & with Richard English on Lone Shark.

Each skipper has different attitudes towards fishing & I've found that chartering a different skipper soon helps you to understand, whos your favorite!

I came 4th in an EFSA comp (as world champs was considered to dangerous for us to enter) out of weymouth boats I fished on were Tiger Llily, valerie ann, offshore rebel, a dive boat (whose name I forget) and loan shark, also been out with channel cheiften. I did find one of those boats a bit slow and a skipper that did not seem to care. If it was me booking a boat I would look at Richard English (lone shark) or Pat Carlin (channel chifeten) if they are still going, if they were ful I would look at Paul Whittle on offshore. I never got out with top cat but always hear good reports of him.

Cheers chaps I have only ever been out with one skipper half a dozen times. That was steve west chatrering Alice Rose. Had mixed days. But he has now packed fishing in so I scouted round on deep sea directory and have booked three trips this year with Lyle Stantiford aboard Supernova. Brand new boat so lets hope I do better than previous trips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How much would a days fishing be?
What fish are catchable round weymouth?

If you are a novice boat angler one of the better boats would be Richard English with Lone shark 2 01305 779920 as too how much It depends on what you want to do, again with fish I think most fish are possible just tell the skipper what you want (or what he recomends). I am very sure that there are other anglers would have thier own ideas an will let you know what they are, this is just one anglers opinion
