Where to go boat fishing around Exmouth area? Hopefully, (fingers crossed) I will get the opportunity for a boat trip on a yacht, and it would be rude whilst gliding out on the ocean, not to have a try at some boat fishing. Not the most practical of boats for fishing due to the rigging, but I'm sure I can work around it. ![]() Any key areas that are more productive, or is it just a case of the deeper water the better? Don't want to go miles out too, as it's only a yacht powered by sail, not some uber powerful cruiser. ![]() __________________ Jason - Got the flavour for fishing back!

Re: Where to go boat fishing around Exmouth area? BUMP! This trip is likely to be on Sunday. Any ideas? I might end up just cruising around the bay with a Rapala out the back of the boat. ![]() __________________ Jason - Got the flavour for fishing back!

Re: Where to go boat fishing around Exmouth area? Hi, Why not give one of the local skippers a ring and ask him? I'm sure that Ian Goff (Shande) will help. Regards Drew __________________ All that Glitters is not Gold Secretary of The Blandford Sea Angling Club

Re: Where to go boat fishing around Exmouth area? Well - definitely out tomorrow, from 10am. Weather is looking OK with a 17mph SSW, so the sea is not going to be flat but also not too rough either. Heading out on a yacht with my 6 foot boat rod and some basic gear. Hope to catch some decent fish. Primary choice of weapon might be my big black redgill lure which might hook a decent pollack or two. Otherwise it's down to getting decent mackerel for dinner. ![]() __________________ Jason - Got the flavour for fishing back!
