| wildcard catch report 21-6-09 We had a run off with the new skipper (Stevie Baul) yesterday and decided on a 5.am start from Hartlepool marina. It was the first time he had been out in the swiftcat but like all good skippers he was soon in the swing. The fishing was patchy though. We ran over 8 wrecks with only odd fish here and there so tried the ground off Boulby which also only yielded the odd cod or two, and never saw a mackeral all day. The best two I could manage were these pair - the biggest just over 10lb with 5 smaller ones. Still that's fishing. ![]() Alan __________________ Man who fishes in other man’s well often catches crabs. www.wildcard-charters.com |
