| Easter boat fishing trip with my son Hi, I am taking my 10 year old son to Poole this easter bank holiday and would like some suggestions on which boat trip to book. Neither of us are experienced at boat fishing so I would like everything done for us (we also do not have any equipment). I think we would like 5 or 6 hours on a boat, we dont have any preferences for any particular type of fish (the bigger the better I guess). One concern I do have is if we book two places on a trip but the other places are not sold, does the trip not happen? I may consider chartering our own boat but that sounds like it could be expensive. I would love to hear what you guys recommend plus any advice or tips. Many thanks Mat 07764 823361 |

| Re: Easter boat fishing trip with my son Hi Mat. I don't know Poole as I live in Weymouth where we have the best charter fleet in the country :-) Over periods like Easter most of the charter boats are already pre-booked. I suggest you have a look at these lonks for Poole boats and give some of the skippers a call. They also list all the Weymouth boats, so if you are looking to charter a Weymouth boat and need to make up some numbers I might be able to help. You can PM me if you want more info. __________________ Check my blog for a daily fishing forecast from Weymouth, Portland, Chesil Beach & Kimmeridge Bay. www.fishingtails.co.uk |

| Re: Easter boat fishing trip with my son Hi, TRUE BLUE skippered by Steve Porter (01202 665482, Mobile: 07967 598669)has spaces available for a general fishing trip but targeting Bream on Easter Monday. An ideal trip for a first timer. He is an excellent skipper and comes highly recommended, however you will have to be quick.
