Smile First Poole Bay Cod Aboard 'True Blue'.

Hopefully first of many ! 20lb 2oz Poole Bay Cod to Richard Fosbury from Pewsey, Wilts aboard 'True Blue' from Poole. Abu gear, braid, 6ft mono 80lb trace, pennel rigged 6/0 hooks and calamari squid. Photos sent to the Boss....Richard......appearing soon. Fish took over high water slack in 80ft of water. We could have had more if the boys had done the basics....check your clutch setting, don't do it with the fish already on...do it before ! Check your knots, strike and set the hooks, basics that cost us another three fish ! You might get one chance all day......make it count....prepare, concentrate and fish hard paying attention to your bait presentation. The fish are there...the rest is up to you guys ! And people wonder why Skippers go grey early !!!!!!!!! Best Wishes to You All, Malc, Owner and Skipper of 'True Blue' from Poole, Dorset.
