Just got this email from Malcolm Collins, skipper of True Blue.

Any takers?

Hi All,
Saturday 30th October 2004 has become available for a Whole Boat Charter Booking aboard 'True Blue' from Poole. Cost is £220 with all your own gear and bait or £270 with all bait and tackle supplied. Maximum of ten Anglers.

We will be fishing for Cod and Whiting with the first decent numbers of Channel Whiting from Poole Bay being caught aboard 'True Blue' over the past three days. Weekend dates are rarely available so it must be first come first served, if you want to confirm this date then ring or e-mail asap, £50 deposit required.

think i may be in yorkshire sorry, anyway 2 trips in as many weeks might be abit expencive looking at current finances, only acouple of months till i hit the road so need to save as much as possible (proving 2 b quite hard)

A bit harsh Audiracer, he cancelled on us the night before because of the weather - which turned out to be OK on the day. We lost a day fishing, he lost a coupla hundred quid....... But I know what you're saying.

Forecast was for force 5 to 6 and we were going 15 miles offshore....easy to blame the Skipper......what about the forecasters ? Can't always get it right gents.....if I could then I'd be on telly .......telling you about the weather ! I work full time...not part time....this is my living...I don't cancel without good reason...it costs me money. I enjoy catching fish more than the Anglers...if I don't catch then I don't have a business....so come on guys...don't judge things on one cancellation because of a dodgy forecast ! Give us some credit. Malc.
