| Charter Trip Hi all, The easiest thing in the world is to book a boat for a charter trip. The hardest thing is (1) to find a port that suits everyone (2) the date and (3) the type of fishing. Unless you go from Brighton or from some of the other ports on the south coast, you will have to steam for over 2 hours for a wrecking trip, otherwise it has to be an inshore trip. All moneys will have to be paid up front, NO DEPOSIT. Cheques etc. would have to be cleared long before the date. If a person withdraws then they forfeit their money unless someone else takes their place. Portsmouth - Poole - Weymouth seem to be in everyones reach without a long drive for an early start, however there is the "steaming" time to the marks. Portsmouth and Poole would be my favourites because of the parking facilities, I've never fished out of Weymouth on a charter but would be willing to do so if required. What are your feelings? We still have time this year for Bass and Bream + a few inshore wrecks. Depending on your responses a trip could be organized within the next 2 months.
