| Re: pollack from wreck Once you hit the bottom always count your winds back up as it can save you time if you get into the fish i.e you can wind straight up to were you got you last fish if you have counted how far you have wound up If you are struggling vary your speed of retrieval as some days they like it slow and other they might want the shads worked fast. Also very your leader length - 15ft to 6 ft ish Change your colours of your lures as like all fish some days a blue will work yet on another all they want is red Don’t for get about eddystone eels and jelly worms as these can be deadly. Been years since I’ve been out but read with a black tip were killers Rotten links on your leads !! a must Always ask the skipper he knows best and if he tells you to do something then it for a reason NEVER if snagged use your hands on the line as you could loose your fingers !! Use a sort pole ect to rap the line around and let the drift free you or snap you off. Thinks that’s the basics but I’m sure others will add God I wish I was going on a wrecking trip too ![]() __________________ Richard|Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports |
