| Doggies Does anyone know what the record is for a dogfish in british waters?? When we were out on Saturday, my friend Richard caught a large doggie and after a good fight he finally got his hook back and threw the fish overboard without giveing it a thought about taking a pic, it must have been getting on for 5.5-6lb and over two foot long, is this large in doggie terms as it would be a shame to have thrown away a protential record. Looking forward to your replies |

| Re: Doggies I've caught bull huss to 9lb from a cliff base in Co Clare last year and they were a very dark brown, same colour as the kelp. I wasnt sure what the first one was because of the colour but a local fishing beside me filled me in. BTW he gave me a lesson in how to catch large wrasse It's a pity you didnt photograph the fish showing its mouthparts, 5lb LSD is a cracker. Sea Scorpion |
