dover in november

hello there have just booked a trip out of dover for the end of november was just wondering what tackle methods you would recomend i think we will be ground fishing for cod etc. taking a few of the lads that are new to the sea (carp boys so i wanna look like a pro(thats a laugh)

hello mate,usual style is a whole squid or maybe two on a pennel rig,you can slide a few lug up the line if you like as well,i just use a 4 to 6 foot flowing trace on a clements boom or something similar,i has always worked for me. best of luck for november,
