is there anywhere i can either catch sandeel from my boat or buy live sandeels localy

If there Sandeels are as good as there Ragworm, then they will be brilliant.

If you want live sandeel, try Roger's Tackle in Swansea marina. Or you could try Mainwarings, again in Swansea.
