Cardigan bay info please

I'm off to Cardigan Bay for a couple of weeks and at some point their must be a flat day so I can go fishing!!!

I was wondering what is being caught in the region between Cardigan and Aberaeron as I will be down their.

When I was a kid we used to jig for Mackeral then go bottom fishing within the mile of the beach. We will be doing something similar on our hols but being april we doubt the mackeral will be swiming about.

Any info on what is being caught or what to expect would be appreciated. Thanks very much
