Question What Braid?

Im off Boat fishing soon, if the weather improves.

I need some 40lb braid for my multiplier reel. Any recommendations?

I have been told Berkley Fireline is good!

Also what sort of mono backing should I use?

Would welcome any suggestions.
Cheers

Re: What Braid?

Hi mate!

I don't know what kind of fishing you do in saltwater! Anyway, for me i'll prefer HERCULINE from SUFIX!

I use this kind of braid around seven years and I'll never had a problem with it!

And I'd use it for Seabream Deep Fishing with stoped boat and also for Jigging!

Althougt, I've noting against Fireline! Only it gots a kind of cover that usualy goes away fast! And seams to me that this braid will loose strength quicker than the one I use! I can be wrong about it, but that's what I feel about!

Hope I'd help!

Best regards!

Ernesto
