ONE SPACE....Channel Islands Trip 05/05/2008-08/05

Ladies and Gents,

Due to a last gasp withdrawal ('cos one of our number discovered that he can't look at a boat without heaving!! lol) .......I have ONE SPACE left on a Channel Islands boat trip in early May.

The trip is with Rob Thompson on his awesome (and it is awesome, believe me) catamaran 'Shogun' and departs at about 8.00am on Monday 5th May (Bank holiday) from Lymington; we return on Thursday 8th May either late afternoon or early evening, depending on how knackered we are!!

The trip is primarily to target the flatties (turbot and brill), it is the best time of year for them and we have some excellent tides; consequently, the plan is to steam straight over to the islands on the Monday morning (rather than wreck hopping as is the norm, after all....who wants to take home some 4 day old pollack....we will get plenty on the way home on day 4). We will then have 2 1/2 days concentrating on the flatties, before wreck hopping back to Lymington on the Thursday.

We are already picking one angler up from Yarmouth IOW....so don't think you are unable to go should you live on the island. Cost is £365.00including accomodation, which I will have already booked for you.

The rest of those going are all up for a laugh, enjoy a beer and are all fishing mad.....it should be an excellent trip. If you are interested, send me a pm with your phone number and I will get in touch.

I will run this on a first come, first served basis and would be happy to have a couple of reserves if possible to cover last minute emergency withdrawals.

Regards all.

A.C.
