Boat Trip Sunday 19/08/07

I'm out on a mid channel wrecking trip this Sunday on Wight Rebel along with Monkey Nuts, Twiddler & Mithrandir (Weather Permitting) Anyone know whats being caught at the moment & any suggestions as to what tactics should I use. Twiddler & I will probably be providing the groundbait.....

been talking with eric and the trip looks ok at the moment for the weather(fingers crossed) force 3

he said the wrecks are fishing there nuts off when thay get out
with big pollock , cod to 10lb , bream to 5lb and the odd ling . conger will be around at slack if you fancy a scrap with one of them

the cod reef is dead sadly.. maybe the strange weather but probaly trawlers

so bring plenty of gear as its mainly wrecking for the day, but we will be taking a look at a reef we used to fish couple of years ago on the way and if that works out the tackle loss will be minamalized

Go get them ! People relax when they go boat fishing and Im one of them but if you work hard and always think of tide and bait you will bag up . Look forward to reading how it goes

I am out on Ocean Warrior 3 on Sunday if the weather holds. We are wrecking so I will give you a wave if we pass.
