RNLI needs your help

Well whether you fish from a boat or the shore the RNLI are here to help us 24hrs a day 365 days a year

Like others I have just realised that I have not made a little contribution this year. They do an amazing job all for free and need OUR help to keep them going.

Quote:
The RNLI is funded almost entirely by voluntary donations and legacies. For us to continue to save lives at sea and fund our plans for the future, we need your help
So please if you have a little money to spare | CLICK HERE | and make a difference

Re: RNLI needs your help

Well said Richard - Im an Offshore member and also donate on a regular basis. Membership with Offshore or Inshore membership is very cheap really - I think I only pay about 50 quid a year - not much when it comes out quarterly.

Agree -they do a great job and need all the support they can get.

Re: RNLI needs your help

So very true.

Like Tommy I'm an offshore member and sell the odd raffle ticket. Everyone who uses the sea may need these guys one day! The day you need them you really need them and wouldn't want them to run out of fuel on the way!

Re: RNLI needs your help

Hi all,

As a regular charter fisherman I've been an offshore member for a number of years now. At least you can see where your contributions go!!!

Cheers

Re: RNLI needs your help

There are no two ways about it the Lifeboats need you. Unlike many less worthy charities you are not forced to contribute in the form of taxation by the Government. I am a Governor/offshore member and contribute £8 per month by direct debit. If you go to sea and are not a member, do think about it. Your life, the lives of your loved ones and the salvage of your boat could depend on them.

Well said. I also am (and have been for many years), a Governor

Push out the boat for the RNLI, you folks - one day you may want them to push a boat out for you.
