Which scuppers is best?

Hi every one out there

I recently bought a 4.5 m semi rigid Gemini wave runner - second hand. The problem is the scuppers are not keeping the water out. My question is, which is best.

1. The standard hypolon hose like drain sysem
2. The plastic scupper which works with a rubber ball

Hope this makes sense to somebody out there.

I'd go for the first one, tried and tested, neither one will keep the boat dry unless you're underway.

I have seen on our NSRI boat that the scuppers is +- 600mm long, though the boat is a 5.5m RIB rescue craft.

Do you perhaps know what is the correct length for the hypolon hose on my 4.5m boat?
