Re: forum boat trip 16th sept

Great stuff, thanks Mike. Personally prefer the Olde Irish Magners but not everything English is bad so I'm sure a jot of the old scrumpy would go down well. Looking forward to gloating over England getting pasted by the Boks and celebrating a Welsh victory over the Arsetralians (OK, one out of two ain't bad) while a smug Kiwi laughs at us all as they haven't reached the choking stage yet (Kev will be left out as I don't think the Scots are involved are they?) Most of all looking forward to lots of fish and lots of laughs!

Re: forum boat trip 16th sept

Is it worth getting some rag or lug to try for the cod or aren't they showing in enough numbers to target?

Don't hold back Mike, tell them. All of you have a great trip. I'm stuck in the Midlands (Booo), at the mother in laws (Booo) eating her food (Hurray) and getting ready for next weeks 9 nights in the Isle of Wight (Yes Yes Yes).

Re: forum boat trip 16th sept

Are we due for an uncomfortable trip with the wind at 12mph westerlys ? I thought the wind in the west is good for down there - just need to know as my last trip out with Smoothy and Kiwi was dartmouth in March and by christ was there a massive sea that day - and I spent the morning throwing up before we returned to port !! Dont fancy another sick trip !!!!!

Dont be such a fart !!!.....Take tablets is the answer !!!!.....Weather should be fine ....Where we fish will depend on the wind direction on the day,but 12mph is fine....
