Re: ness beach. help

Hi Neil,

Had a trip down there the other day...lots of Whiting, Doggies, Wrasse and Rockling.

I have caught plenty of fish down there in the past and have seen some big fish come off the beach. In the summer you get the normal macks, gars, pollock and bass along with the Smoothhounds.

I have seen double figure bass from the middle of the beach and i have also seen people catching Dabs.

I suppose you just gotta catch it at the right time.

Re: ness beach. help

Hi Neil, I used to fish the Ness a couple of years ago, I've had Bass, mackerel, smoothound, and many many doggies, and heard of wrasse, gurnard whiting etc coming off the beach, think it's one of those places that will produce on the right day to the right method, if anyone knows when and and what that is, could they let me know!!!

Don't think it's doing that much lately, loads of flood water belting down the teign.

Hope you do well, i'll be interested to read the reports, good luck.
