Fishing today on Princess Pier, Tqy

i didnt get any today steve i got a macky on bread in the harbour !!! had a wrasse which had to be getting near 3lb but no sign of the mullet

bet the macky and wrasse was a good fight on the light rod

shame about the mullet though

yea 4lb line and a match rod :)
i went again today still no sign of the mullet tried bassing on the outside of the pier but nothing.....the fact that there was a dozen or so dolphins out there might have been the reason why no bites.
so moved back into the harbour caught a small flounder and several gilthead bream upto about 2lb then got moved on by the harbour master grrrrrrr

all the macky 2day were on the surface not feeding just swimming with there mouths out of the water :S

are you sure it was there mouth's and not periscopes looking for which way the dolphins where coming from?

be very good to see dolphins that close to the shore!

well no mullet again today i dunno where they have gone.
maybe its something to do with the neap tides.
i am gonna try inside the harbour tonight for the bream again my friends son wants to go and no point taking him macky bashing because the dolphins where there again today
