| Re: fishing in Newquay in mid June, any HELP!!!! I presume you`re going to Newquay in Cornwall !....There are loads of great places to fish.Plenty of surf beaches with bass close inshore. The headlands are brilliant for wrasse and pollock fishing, best bait for the wrasse is mud rag and hardback crabs, the crab definatly catches the bigger fish. You can have a crack at Congers at a place called the" Fly Cellars" next to the harbour, best at night.Theres a big sewer outlet on the headland just below the Headland hotel always used to be a good number of mullet there, float fishing with either small mud rag or bread works well. There`s good flounder fishing in the Gannel Estuary, and good bass as the tide floods, the Gannel is also the best place to get Mud rag and hardback crabs......Hope this helps....... ![]() __________________ Mike..
