Help needed

I've moved to Hornsea on the east coast of yorkshire and want to get into beach fishing.
Been coarse fishing for many years on and off when work permits.
But I just don't have a clue on what sort of tackle to buy, or any idea of rigs etc.
If anybody would be kind enough to help me out I would really appreciate it.
If you are in Hornsea I'll even buy you a beer.

Thanks

Re: Help needed

I fished there a few years ago when I was just starting out in sea fishing. I used standard gear, two hook flapper rig with size 1 hooks and lug worm. I had several small plaice. There's a good tackle shop in Skipsea, the best advice would be to ask your local shop.

All the best.

Jon

what gear to get .
i would not go too daft too start wi just incase you dont like it.
you can get some good combos start off with a fixedspool and a twelve to thirteen foot rod.you could poss go too the floral hall when the next match is on and ask some of the locals for advice.
