Re: night bass lures?

Sorry mate i cant help you on this topic but i find the best baits to use on the evening and night tides are live baits.....smelt,bream or a small joey normally produce good takes! good luck with your question and fingers crossed you get the right answer to hook yourself a nice double this year!!

Re: night bass lures?

cheers mate! having a quiet one to i see! getting smashed tomorrow tho lol!
im only asking about night lures as im a restless mofo when night fishing
and its good to keep active when your tuked up on the marina at 4.am i get a bit drowzy! and have missed fish like that!
so chucking round a lure would be good, but failing that a pike float with a beta attached and live bait is a goody (well has been for other peaple) and seen some good bass go to it!
just looking for another weapon in my arsenal for that elusize double fig bass!
cant see a reason why one wouldnt have a pop at a rubber eel close to the bottom (its not as if they stop hunting at night)
just wondering if its primarily by scent dont realy know wot ther night vision is like with a moving target!
