| Avila beach Pier Wondering if anyone has expereince on the Avila Pier. Curious about what bait is best as well as size limits. Any info would be greatly appreciated!      |

| Re: Avila beach Pier Well, not exactly my area but judging by this website http://www.avilaswimming.com/html/ptp_2003_cancel.html I'd say fairly large bait (whole seal seems to work) and don't worry about specimen size, anything over 10 foot should be fine! Take care out there. |

| Re: Avila beach Pier didnt hear about that, might need quite abig shock leader for casting out seal and i dont think you would need to worry about wieghts on a seriouse note, fishing might have improved if the seals are being targeted by a shark they might move on, leaving the fish there alone, rag, lug and macky seem to be a good bet just about anywhere __________________ Bens The Name And Catchings The Game Anti the Anti's |
