Pendine beach to be closed!

I'm sorry,I don't fish, but friends do!

you may know this already, but in case not, I wanted to let you know that Pendine beach is to be closed to vehicular traffic. If you have been there, you will realise that this has big implications for fishing and bait digging, the beach is 8 miles long and many people drive on and fish several miles up- it wont be possible to do this any more.

Many local beach users are making representations to the local authority and are trying to secure some form of on going access. Perhaps fisher men and women would like to do the same. Also you may have a governing body, or clubs who could also be acting on your behalf.
