Re: anybody know?

I fished Witches point about 2 weeks ago with squid and rag. Only caught small whiting and pout fishing into the bay but nothing out to sea. When it got dark I noticed about a dozen or so lamps over on Ogmore deeps. Perhaps somethings going on over there.
Penarth sea anglers reports are no-goers. Very little being caught by the sound of it. St Marys Well Bay is fishing quite well. Best on a strong Westerly with a spring tide. Last hour of the ebb and first 2 hours of the flood. Thats about all the fishing time you get there anyway but outside of those times is pretty crap.........Big juicy rag. Freshly dug if you can get it.

Penarth Ledges are recovering ,but its real hard work.Dale is a super lace to dig on big springs and well worth the effort to go there.

The deeps are not fishing that well at the mo,but i hear on the grapevine codling are being caught off Penarth beaches and the pier in increasing numbers last week, might be worth a bash.
