Hi all im thinking of making a long lol trip to dungeness in october or november does anybody know what the fishing is like down there and if there is a certain spot that fishes well any info would be great hope to hear from anybody soon

in winter the point is good. long range casting is an advantage. very strong tides, local black lug's the best bait.

it's good after a big blow too. noisy if it's foggy.

if it's open, then a walk up the light house will let you see the whole area from a birds view.

hey if u r up 4 a bit of fishing at dungeoness in the next few weeks please give me a shout, as i have not fished there 4 about a year and would like 2 go and have another go!! i have done well there in the past however as every angler knows who wants to fish by them self, not this 1 anyway, look 4wd 2 hearing from all of you, a good forum meet is on the cards i think, till later

Lots of dabs there at the moment, could be worth a try before it slackens off and the weed arrives
