| keeping warm i use a two piece under suit made by sundride then a t shirt and a jumper smock then a two piece breathable suit skitext socks and boots and im never cold even on the crapest of winter nights |

| Re: Q: Better catches at day or night? and keeping warm... I'm a recent returnee but treated myself to a Fladen flotation suit from e bay - brand new £45 and a headlamp. I think I prefer night fishing just because it's more of an adventure. Having plenty of rigs made up is probably another good idea, you don't want to be making them up in the dark and knowing where things are in your bag helps too. Then as many have suggested a big flask, hat and a pair of gloves work wonders. Whatever you do, enjoy it!! Fieldy |
