I have a problem, when I put my rod together I have a big problem trying to seperate them again. Can someone tell me a solution.

either take off the but cap or make a hole in it
that should get rid of the vacume which might be holding it together, if that dont work i cant help i am afraid, there is thread on here somewhere about it though
is it a penn rod by any chance?

You can try a little bit of silicon spray or a spray with PTFE in,on the spigot just to make it a bit slippy slidy.

or srcibble on the spigot with a pencil this also makes it slippy
