south coast fishing

whats it like fishing during the day at Goring by Sea. is there any marks one should try.

Well I used to live there many years ago ( looked after two pubs there for a bit )

The beach was not brill as in the summer the weed hits and it is hard , mainly eels and the odd silver fish

I know there are a few guys from that area on the forum so will leave it to them for a more upto date report as its been almost 17 yrs since last I fished there

Although I cannot remember the estuary name near by but was ok for mullet

Hiya mate

not sure how its fishing at the moment down goring but id say there should be a few golden greys if ya lucky and loads of lil scoolies! pain in the arse cause they strip your redrag in seconds the lil pests!! lol

not sure what the water is like today after the litle blow we had last night but if its colored up a bit there may be a chance of an eel or two or even a dog!

tell ya what as im in worthing i'll find out whats around tomorrow and post what i can or even tell me when your planing on popping down i'll let ya know what to expect!

also forgot to mention the hight of the tide mate.....may become un fishable with the amount of weed down there.....was thinking of giving it a crack myself and useing my left over bait from friday but thinking river sounds tempting, good luck again anyway
