Re: Novice needs help

I Got my bait from your place second time around Portland Pirate

I went shopping (sorry to mention the S word) with the missus on Saturday afternoon in Dorchester. There was a fishing/army/camping shop selling Rag so I thought I would get a few in case I get a few hours in on Sunday. I got them home (5 minutes down the road) and like with all bait I check it out. I was not impressed to find most of them were dead!!! I got straight back in the car and took them back. The chap in the shop (who sold them to me not 15 minutes earlier) said "are you sure you got them from me? I only had them delivered this morning". This was not what I wanted to hear. I made him go through all of his in the fridge and still couldn't get half a pound so I got a refund. I just thought I should warn other naive people to check the goods before you buy them!!!

Re: Novice needs help

Hi Stan.

It was good to see you and your family the other day. I am sorry that the shop in Dorchester had bad ragworm. Hopefully you caught on our rag.

Re: Novice needs help

I caught fine on the ragworm. The only problem is that the missus who had only fished a total of about 5 minutes before in her whole life caught more than me. She even left all my kit and went for a walk for 2 hours!!!
