Ozz is on a distinguished road
Re: Who's coming to the Portland meet?

would really love to be there but unfortunately have another trip planned out of Newhaven aboard the Carrick Lee. My next scheduled trip to Portland will be about late August to visit my Mother and siblings so hopefully will get a few trips out.

and a great link by the way. brings back some fond memories of Portland Bill. My Grandfather lived on the Bill as a Crab Potter so it was always good to go down there and help out as a kid. lovely memories of being winched up by crane by my step father. Sadly my mother sold the house on the Bill a few years ago and moved into the new estate (well new to me anyways as it wasnt there when i were there in 1977) behind the Exchange.

Hi Ozz

I'm glad the site brought back a few memories. Let me know when you come down and we can go and fish a few of your old haunts.

Jon

Hi Pirate

We are meeting outside the Lobster Pot cafe at 1200. I will PM you this information as well with my mobile number but the mobile does not work very well at the Bill. Send me a text and I'll come and meet you if I get it.

I am planning on fishing for the first couple of hours at Pulpit Rock for Wrasse so you should find me there.

Jon

Re: Who's coming to the Portland meet?

Here you go Richard, http://www.multimap.com/map/places.c...=Portland+Bill

Just follow the signs to the Bill. Parking is the usual pay and display and the car park is about 50yds from the cafe.

See you Sunday.

Jon
