is there anything out there at low tide ?

hi all this is more aimed at paul s/land but all please answer :)

as a fluffchucker and pond fisherman i was wondering is there any point fishing at low tide ,
on walks to my local beach at hendon ,sunderland i see all the fishing done at high tide and just wondered if there was likly to be anything doing at low water when i can get on to the beach and use light gear or fly instead of trying to get over 20 yards of rocks dumped to protect the sea wall

I have found can fish over the highs and low in s/w , as have ground being stirred up all the time ,but its the middle(especially ebb) that fairs the worst

up here in aberdeen the beach fishes better an hour to 2 hours before low tide and then up till 4 hours after low tide.
have fished it a high tide but all i keep getting are small flounders,
i found that at low tide wearing my waders and wading out as far as i can then casting helps, i get in to really nice sized flounders and plaice

ive seen the netters down my way and you would be amazed at how many fish hang around the low water mark they where pulling in loads of flat fish bass mullet cuttle fish. but the problem is they dont tend to feed at low water altho i have never tried fishing the low water mark at night so you never know it could happen. but thats just down my local haunts theres only one way to find out baz give it a go
