Re: fish off a pier

hi, just to let you know that lowering the small fish back down on the spike of your lead through his gills is exactly how we do it on clevdon pier.

Re: fish off a pier

Is Clevedon Pier that beautiful old Victorian iron work one near Bristol? Isn't it being used in a TV advert right now. It looks a fantastic place. Is the fishing good?

Re: fish off a pier

yes thats the one, the one that also had a good write up in the sea angler mag last month. The fishing has its ups and downs on there but in the last couple of weeks its on the up and there's been some good catches. Cod has made a late show and the congers are back as well as the thornbacks. with plenty of whiting to stop the boredom.(ha ha). Its a nice place to fish.
