Hi

I have fished hastings harbour arm

This might be a bit out of date but hear is a bit of info

Best fished high water ( locals info )

You can catch most fish from it i.e codling bass dogfish smoothound macheral mullet ect

I found that lugworm worked the best though harbour rag squid ect are v.good

If I remember its clean bottom fishing so no need for heavy gear

Just an idea if you fish with two rods put one ito the habour (light gear)
and the other ito the seaside - that way you get best of both worlds

Hope this helps in some way

I fished a match there a few years ago, and remember a few codling coming out, think I had a couple to 4lbs, but nothing too spectacular, and that was in the winter months..
