Question When will there be fish in Exmouth

Hey guys, I just want to know when Exmouth docks will actually be fishable for anything apart from wrasse (preferably mackeral).
Could anyone suggest a good date and time?

placing a babel fish in my ear and putting on a snorkel i will go and ask the mackeral and bass tommorrow, and when they tell me i shall tell you
otherwise i shall keep fishing untill one turns up
best bet is after a week off warm weather
dave

hang on
wed 19th 10.45am approx just too right off orcombe rocks. unless rain stops play

Re: When will there be fish in Exmouth

sorry bass bullet really had had such a bad day yesterday and should not have been so off hand

So honestly its really down too a week or two of good weather, we had a few good weeks in feb and the mackeral came in , local boats now saying only100-150 mtrs off shore, the other night i saw small baitfish jumping so things are starting too look up, the school bass are always in the estuary, but think the mummies and daddies need another week or two to appear, then its dawn and dusk with the lures, from the docks too the end off rocks, and from the point near the watch tower/mackeral boat mobile peir, or orcombe rocks(but watch the tide here)
hope this is a better answer for you
dave
mind you , didnt you have a mate who knew about the movement of shoals of flatties? can he not see the makkies intentions over the next week or two??

Cool Re: When will there be fish in Exmouth

Thanks for your advice pingu, I'll bear that in mind.
The 'mate' went to Birmingham and he was wrong about the shoal anyway!
