Smile Portland Meet

Well the meet is two weeks away so I thought I had better post to let you all know where and when. I will be down there at about 12pm (mid day), mobile phones work in places at the Bill, mine got its signal from France tonight. I will be fishing at Pulpit rock for a couple of hours when I get there.

If anyone wants more info please pm me.

Jon

Wink Re: Portland Meet Anyone ????

Richard

I will be down there about 12pm, probably best if we meet at the Lobster Pot cafe. The bill is a big place and it won't be easy to find all the members but there is rarely many fishermen down there so the chances are that all the fishermen will be from the forum. We will be fishing from low tide so the sea will be running heavily from west to east. A good spot for Bass and Pollack will be under the obelisk as the fish lie in wait for prey fish to be washed around the point.

Don't forget to bring some maggots with you as the mullet often come in during the evenings to feed on maggots washed out of the seaweed in the coves.
