| Float fishing from piers I'm hoping to try and do some float fishing off the piers this summer for bass, macky etc.. When doing it, and you get a bite, does the float actually go down? As they seem so big, I couldn't imagine something pulling them down. Or does it just glide along the surface? Any help appreciated __________________ Dan `·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸ Big or small, look after them all! ¸.·´¯`·.¸ ><((((º> |

| OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they go down all right! get a good mackeral bite and you'll lose sight of that float alright, and if you hook a bass, if it doesnt jump, you wont see it again until you get the fish to your feet!!!!!!! the whole point of saltwater floating is that when a fish bites, the float goes down (unless like garfish they make it pop up flat) the floats might look big but they go under easily enough! __________________ -Nostalgia ain't what it used to be. -Hard work has a future payoff.
