vacuum packed Bait

Just saw these

http://www.seafishingsupplies.co.uk/...roducts_id=365

Anyone tried them, seems like a good idea when fresh/live bait is not available.

Cheers Mark.

Re: vacuum packed Bait

No the link was to what looked like dried up baits. where is the cent trail going to come from them? Ive seen strips used, but these i presume work on the principil of a artificial bait. they all need movement to catch.

Re: vacuum packed Bait

Thanks for the great response guys,

From what i can deduce, because the Packet is vacuum packed it means all the excess air is sucked out of the packet, so they say the bait actually has a better scent trail than frozen.
And these are not artfical baits.

I have been using frozen Shrimps all winter with reasonable sucsess, but the past few weeks i have been blanking, because my job means im on callout i don't really know what im doing till late the previous night, so live baits are really difficult to source that late at night, and then keep if im called out, maybe i will not fish for 2 weeks, then i fish everyday for 2 weeks after that.

I've tried netting my own Shrimps but after 20 or so times i got nothing, so i need either a live bait that will keep fpr a week or so, or a good dead bait.

Cheers Mark.
