Century rods Looking at getting a couple of new century rods this year. Was thinking of the Tip tornado sport but have been told that the Kompressor ss is far better. I'm wanting a good casting rod capable of sticking 5-6oz plus bait a good distance. Handle good sized fish, Rays conger etc, plus weed, tides etc. Anyone who nows either of these rods any help would be appreciated. __________________ 2011 species: 25

Re: Century rods Don't know about the TT Sport but the Kompressor is more than capable of what your looking to do. I had one but didn't get on with it reel up...recentley swapped to reel down and been told by loads that they are suited to this style. john __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size

Re: Century rods I have a TT and really rate it. Not sure if the Kompressor is better but it is a lot stiffer. It's a different type of rod. __________________ One day i will post a catch report again.

Re: Century rods Hello Davey, I know the Kompressor S and is very similar to the TTS, only that it has the top with a more rapid action, while the KSS is harder than the KS
